Take that!....everyone who thinks they know me as some bourgeois gal that wouldn't step foot into a diner...think again. I'm super down to earth especially when it comes to food. I realized that I could eat anywhere for the sake of good food when my friend Brandi took me to a Dive Bar (gag). Despite the dogs that seemed like they lived there....and the couple feeding the juke box....this bar had some of the best wings I've had in my life. The saying "you can't judge a book by it's cover" extends to restaurants.

On east sunrise blvd before the US-1 north bend sits a blue and white building serving GREAT greek food at an even greater price. Despite the extensive menu I can't seem to stray away from my usual Gyro platter. Pre-diet.....I would get it with the salad and fries it comes with.....now I order double salad :)



Is there a rule that says you have to order desert after you eat the main course? My friend Crystal sure doesn't think so.....she ordered Baklava for an appetizer/dessert.


It was my first time having Baklava which is a popular greek dessert consisting of layers of sweet pastry, chopped nuts, and sweetened with honey or syrup....very tasty!
